PolyBuzz Review — free character chat, paid memory

Pros and cons

What is PolyBuzz?

PolyBuzz is a free character chat library with an optional paid membership. The operator is Cloud Whale Interactive Technology LLC, the developer named in app-store listings. The official FAQ advertises free character chat and optional membership, but it prohibits public NSFW display. That public-content policy does not establish the rules for every private interaction. This review is independent of PolyBuzz and Cloud Whale, and none of your chats pass through SpicyAI. If you buy membership via our buttons, we may be paid a commission.

Membership, coins and paying in ringgit

PolyBuzz membership is priced in US dollars, which we convert at RM4.10, and coins are sold separately, so a checkout can include more than the plan itself. We did not pay for membership from Malaysia, so card acceptance and the final total are unconfirmed. The interface is English. Adults only (18+), and the character in the image is fictional.

Is PolyBuzz free?

Yes, with an unknown ceiling. PolyBuzz advertises free character chat, including basic voice, but does not say how much you get or when the allowance resets. Ads are part of the free deal; Standard membership removes them.

PolyBuzz pricing in RM

PolyBuzz membership comes in three tiers, each with a monthly and a yearly USD price, converted here at RM4.10 (Bank Negara Malaysia reference, October 2026).

Every yearly price on this grid equals ten monthly payments, so paying upfront saves two months, from approx. RM405.90 a year for Standard to approx. RM1,225.90 for Ultimate. Coins are extra on any plan.

Characters, memory and voice

The character library comes with the free plan, and you can also build your own characters on the website. Memory is tiered: Standard adds enhanced memory, and Ultimate, at approx. RM122.59 a month, adds Permanent Memory. Voice runs from basic on free to unlimited playback on paid plans; playback means spoken replies, not calls. We did not test recall or voice quality.

PolyBuzz AI does not publish its memory limits, so free chat does not mean it remembers everything.

Filters and NSFW content

PolyBuzz’s official FAQ prohibits public NSFW display. That rule is about what is shown publicly; it does not spell out everything allowed in a private chat, so read the full policy rather than assuming private means unrestricted. Wherever the line sits, content involving minors, non-consent, real people without consent or illegal material is banned, characters are fictional and this review is for adults 18+.

Paying for membership does not change these rules, including the ban on public NSFW display.

Is there an app?

PolyBuzz is on the app stores, where the listings name Cloud Whale Interactive Technology LLC as developer; that name is the check to make before installing. The website works too, if you would rather not install anything. APK copies from elsewhere are not official builds.

Refunds and the company behind it

App-store listings name the operator as Cloud Whale Interactive Technology LLC (USA). The sources we used do not include refund terms, and membership and coins are bought separately, so a refund on one may not cover the other. We did not complete a purchase or find a current independent rating; monthly Standard is the low-commitment way in.

Who should use PolyBuzz?

PolyBuzz suits you if you want free character chat and are fine with its rules: the official FAQ prohibits public NSFW display. Standard membership (approx. RM40.59 a month, or RM405.90 a year) adds enhanced memory and unlimited voice and removes ads; Permanent Memory needs Ultimate. Coins are sold separately, so add them to your budget if you use them.

Our score: 3.5 / 5 (provisional). Free character chat and clear membership tiers work for it; the public NSFW ban keeps it out of the ranking, and unpublished memory limits make the paid tiers harder to judge.
