How SpicyAI checks and ranks apps
Our spicy ai reviews score every app on the same six criteria and mark which facts come from official pages, which come from reports and which we could not confirm.
Sources and scope
Our spicy ai methodology starts with official pricing, help pages, terms and operator announcements. We record the check date and distinguish a source assertion from an editorial judgement. This round of reviews is based on documents, not accounts: we did not chat, generate media or complete a purchase from Malaysia. If an official page would not load when we re-checked, we keep the earlier dated figure and say so. Figures from reports stay marked “reported” until an official page confirms them.

The six criteria
We compare output range across images, video, voice and chat; adult content within written rules; the reality of free access; local price transparency; documented access and language; and privacy controls with payment options. A one-time demonstration differs from a daily reset, and an unlimited model allowance differs from memory capacity. Credit packs buy a balance; subscriptions buy a defined period or feature set. Neither alone establishes the cost of the other. We examine the relevant edition rather than carrying web claims into store versions without evidence.

Prices, scores and corrections
We convert prices to RM at the Bank Negara Malaysia reference rate (RM4.10 per USD in October 2026) and show the original USD price where the app publishes one. We show actual monthly-plan prices rather than annual totals divided by twelve. Weekly equivalents are labelled with the billing or commitment period. Missing credit inputs produce a formula, not an invented unit price. All scores are marked provisional while our reviews rely on documents rather than account tests. Scores are editorial judgements against these criteria, not measured performance results. We earn commission from some listed apps and disclose commercial links. Relationships can influence coverage. A correction should identify the claim and a current official source; factual changes can require updating every related comparison.

Frequently asked questions
No. We publish third-party reviews and guides. App accounts, purchases, generated media and conversations remain with the relevant independent operator.
Send the affected page, the exact claim and a current official source to the editorial contact so the underlying evidence can be reviewed.
