What is Muah AI?

Muah AI is a companion chat with text, voice and generated media of fictional characters. Reviews describe the operator as a US company based in California; its legal name is not stated in the sources we checked. The homepage offers a browser demonstration without login and advertises text, voice and generated media. Have I Been Pwned records a September 2024 breach, added on 8 October 2024, affecting 1.9 million email addresses together with stored prompts. That historical record does not establish the state of the current infrastructure or prove that a particular account was affected. Trying Muah before you pay

Muah is easy to check before you commit: the browser demo needs no login, so you can see whether it loads on your connection without giving an email address. Paying is a separate step. VIP is priced in US dollars, shown here at RM4.10 to the dollar, and we did not pay for VIP from Malaysia, so the card total is unconfirmed. It is an English-language, 18+ service; the character pictured is fictional.

Is Muah AI free?

There are two free layers. Muah AI offers a browser demo without login and, beyond it, a limited free tier with ads. The sources we used give no message count for either, so treat both as a preview. Use the demo to see whether the chat style suits you before you create an account.

Muah AI pricing in RM

Muah’s plans run from VIP to Ultra VIP; USD prices are converted at RM4.10 (Bank Negara Malaysia reference, October 2026), and only VIP appears here with a yearly option.

A year of VIP costs approx. RM286.96, about three and a half months at the monthly rate, but it is a year paid in advance to a service with a breach on record. UHD VIP and Ultra VIP are listed at monthly prices.

Memory, voice and privacy

Muah advertises voice messages and live calls, but the tier decides which you get: VIP has base voice, UHD VIP adds premium voice and 4K image upscaling, and real-time phone calls need Ultra VIP at approx. RM409.96 a month. No context or memory limit is published. On privacy, the 2024 breach exposed stored prompts, so assume what you type is kept. We did not test voice quality or recall.

Filters and NSFW content

Adult chat on Muah is for users aged 18+ with fictional characters, and real people who have not consented are off-limits. Because the 2024 breach exposed prompts alongside email addresses, keep names, photos and other identifying details out of explicit chats.

Muah AI markets itself as uncensored, but minors, non-consent and illegal material are still banned.

Is there an app?

The browser is Muah’s documented route, including the no-login demo. Its legal company name is not stated in the sources we checked, so a store app called Muah AI has no publisher you could verify. With a breach already on record, installing an unofficial APK would add risk you do not need.

Refunds and the company behind it

Reviews describe Muah’s operator as a US company based in California, but the legal entity is not named in the sources we checked, and neither are refund terms. Have I Been Pwned records the September 2024 incident; we did not audit Muah’s current security and found no current independent rating. If you pay, a monthly plan limits what is at stake.

Who should use Muah AI?

We keep Muah AI out of the main ranking because of its September 2024 breach, which exposed 1.9 million email addresses together with chat prompts. If you still want to try it, the browser demo needs no login, and yearly VIP works out at approx. RM23.91 a month (RM286.96 a year). Use an email address you don’t use elsewhere, and share nothing personal.

Our score: 2.9 / 5 (provisional). The breach outweighs a generous format list and the no-login demo, and it is the reason Muah is not ranked.
